Decided to try the Lampasas below Stillhouse yesterday morning, walked down stream a ways and as I was putting my tippet on, my 3 forks rod snapped about a foot and a half from the tip. So, frustrated, I had to walk all the way back to the car to get my sons Grasshopper and fished with that. Not a bad day for having so much flow on the river, and it was quite a treat when a nice size crappie came out of nowhere and nailed my little popper. I took the rod back to Cabelas today and got a replacement 4wt with no hassle at all (excellent customer service)

I have three of the rods I like them better than a bunch of the higher priced ones. Nice job on the fish!
