OK guys.....a few weeks ago I posted a question looking for feedback on bassboatseats.com. A few of you had some nice things to say about them, but there wasn't a lot of feedback. I went ahead and ordered the seats I had matched to my boat and lo and behold, the wrong color seats arrived. I was a little bummed, but as a sales rep for a manufacturing company I know these things happen. How we respond is how we are judged (or at least should be).

So I called their customer service line and told them I had been sent the wrong color seats. They put me on hold while they researched the matter...came back on and confirmed that I had indeed not been shipped what I had ordered. This was last Friday and I told them that I had planned on installing them on my boat Saturday or Sunday and wouldn't have time to do it for several weeks after that weekend. I asked if they could overnight the seats to me so I could continue with my plan. I was told that they had a policy that they would not overnight them, but the CS rep agreed to talk to his director and call me back. 10-15 minutes went by and I received a call back. I was informed that they would not overnight the seats to me. I was about to tee them up when he told me that they were refunding me $479 for the cost of the seats, going to have the wrong seats picked up by FedEx and returned and astonishingly going to send me the correct seats at no cost. clap

That is correct.....$479 worth of seats at no cost to me that arrived yesterday (BTW - Money has already been returned to my card)

All I can say is that while they did make a mistake, they were IMHO overly generous in how they responded and satisfied me, their customer. I felt that this level of customer service shouldn't go unspoken, so I wanted to make sure the TFF members knew about this so you would consider them for your seats, carpet, or vinyl should you ever need some.

I am an overly satisfied customer. The end.

Wow. That is great customer service. Better than you could expect from a company. I need some seats in the future for my boat. I'll definitely shop with them and tell them why I chose them. Standing behind your company like that is hard to find today. It probably cost them less than $250 plus shipping but they'll get a ton of business out of it I am guessing.

Nothing but great experiences with them here as well. I called to ask about how much carpet it would take to freshen up the old boat. He suggested EXACTLY the right amount. And the seats are still lookin new a year later.

Loved the set I got from them and the owner is a member here he just doesn't get online very often.
