Does anyone have any suggestion on where to stay by the lake , it's been 5 years from the last time I stayed there.

I hear there's a bed and breakfast type place across from Holiday Marine on hwy. 47 that's nice, other than that I'd sleep in my car. The local motel's are junk and definitely not safe. welcome

It has a bad rap but the remodeled rooms at wagon wheel are fine and super cheap

Best Western in Emory is good. I have stayed at the Lake Country Motel in West Tawakoni before. It is not totally bad, but nowhere near nice. The people around there are sketchy, but we had no problems.

West Twok city park has campers for rent. Not prime but we had no issues while there
