I used to catch Whites at the Dam with green light in the summer.

Haven't been out in a few years. Is this still a productive way to put kids on some fish.

Thanks

That is the way I would do it, Green lights in the deeper water near the Dam has worked well for me in the past.

Launch at Elm creek, You cant use the other ramps due to low water level.

take it easy and stay in the river channel. Good luck

A lot of people troll up and down a stretch of bank straight across from Concho for them in the summer. It's been several years since I've fished out there but we use to catch a ton of them like that when I lived in the area. Also a good chance to pick up some schooling largemouth bass. Lots of action, or use to be anyway.
