Also best source of info on lake livingston would be 2coolfishing .com. Freshwater section is basically all LL

Sorry for the late response man I haven't been on here this weekend. Like carter said, there are good ramps with good fishing nearby just about anywhere on the Lake. The south end of the lake is mostly clear of permanent hazards like stumps but there are floaters everywhere right now. If you don't want to make a long run because you are in a small boat make sure to pay attention to the wind forecast because Lake Livingston gets extremely rough at times. If you want to learn more about running/fishing the lake in a day than you could on your own in a year I'd suggest giving Michael a call at 936 327 6930. Good Luck
