Anybody ever use these? They were clearing them out at a Wmart clearance section, so I bought what they had left. Similar to the Tru-turn design, but the metal looks thicker/stronger.

Isn't the automatic rotating hook the one with the funny Z-bend to the side? That looks like a standard offset hook in the picture. I have some that have the Z-bend in it with an offset eye but haven't really figured out how to rig them where the bait looks natural.

Yes, they have a z-bend (doesn't show up well on 2-D images) The one review I found on them mentioned how the bait looks on the hooks, but the reviewer also mentioned that all the hooksets with them are solidly in the upper jaw

I'm a big fan of TruTurn hooks, all I fish with, pretty much.
Cast I have a short attention spa

That's what I thought they were. I think I ended up taking them out of my tackle box. I just didn't like how the plastic looked on the hook. Just didn't really look natural, I could never get it to "line up" straight because of the z-bend. Never caught a fish with them either so I can't say anything about the hook set but I didn't fish too hard with them either.
