Guys the white bass population on Fork has exploded to unbelievable numbers. On most bass trips we are catching 100+ fish easily in a day. I had someone contact me from here about a freezer filler trip. So I figured I would post up for the rest of yall the same deal I made them. I will run sand bass trips for 250 for two people or 300 for 3. All fish cleaned and bagged as well. These trips are half day and most of the time we are getting the limit in an hour or two. If anyone is interested please give me a shout. The trips are great for women and kids as well because it is constant action. Here are two pics from today. Husband and wife caught there limit in 1 1/2 hours this morning. Thanks and let me know if I can help.

They are big sandblaster! On every trip we are catching so many they usually break the wires off the Arig by 10 in the morning. Here's some more Sandy Candy from Fork.

I've caught magnums on both lakes. Both got giant sandies with shoulders and are compatible but the numbers have dwindled on twok in recent years. Matt Cartwright posted an 18" true mag out of Twok a few years ago. But Fork has the numbers right now due to less pressures. IMHO.

Is there a certain length a Sandy has to be in order to be considered a magnum? I've pulled several out of Twok in the 16" range.

You can kill a fly with a sledgehammer,
But do you really need to son???

It really depends on your lake. For my home lake, Ray Hubbard, 15+ are mags and I haven't got bored catching em yet smile

Keep catchin em. They compete with the Largemouth and Crappie. Both are what Fork is known for. I say that I liked Fork without em. I wonder downrange how the shad population and other species will be affected?
