I love fishing that lake.I think the color of those fish are the prettiest of any crappie anywhere.Good job.Darrell

Great job! I fished Gilmer lake Friday afternoon and caught a lot of dinks but brought home 9 good fish. I don't find many on the forum that fish Gilmer.

i think Gilmer is over looked by a lot of crappie anglers... i have yet to catch a white out there but have caught some toad blacks off some of my brush piles.

WTG red snappa Those bad boys will make some great fillets for the frying pan! Modelo's are on ice, let me know when the grease is heating up  
Katchin krappie...doin surgeries(filleting)...and givin hott grease baths until krunchy and golden brown is what it's all about!!!

I didn't post the pics, because this is the crappie section, but I had some magnum bluegills and one redear that was 12 inches to go with the crappies! I seen you have been getting yourself some magnums too! Mmmmmmm! Mmmmmmmm!

What is the traffic on a holiday like there at Gilmer? We will be there this weekend and was thinking about fishing there
