Well after I got rid of my 3wt BVK and waiting on my 2wt to arrive, I was without a UL 2wt rod for about a week. I ended up picking up a Redington 7.5' Classic Trout 2wt, Redington Zero 2/3 reel and a cheap line from China. Not wanting to wait for the line to get here I strung up a TFO WF5F line backwards. made a couple test casts in the front yard, the running line works pretty good. The weather kept me in the house yesterday so today I went out first thing this morning. With the rain, lightning and flood warnings I figured all the Creeks would be blown out. Figured Nolan Creek in Belton was out. Nolan Creek in Killeen was out as well. So it was drive out to Lampasas and check out Sulphur Creek and if it wasn't fishable I was going to head back to Copperas Cove to fish the city park. Pulled up in Lampasas, the creek was about 4-6" high and muddy. Still fishable I strung up the new toy and proceeded to go to work. I started out with a foam bug as an indicator, followed by 18" to a san juan worm. Then same foam bug and orange tailed briminator once the worm was destroyed. Here are the pictures, managed enough to lose count and stop taking pictures.

Nothing huge by any means. with the current and IMHO full flexing rod the smallest was a blast
