I have been reading up on what fuel additives to put in my 1998 Mercury 200 hp EFI, and it looks like the Quikleen, Quickare, and Stabil are the way to go. As I understand it, the Stabil is only needed if the boat is going to sit for longer than 30 days.
Is the correct mixture 1oz of each per 5 gallons of gas?
Where do y'all buy these products? I didn't see the Quicksilver version at my local Walmart. Going to check Academy this week though.

I use stabil ethanol and use it at 1oz every 10 gallons. My boat will usually only sit 1-2 weeks at a time.
you know, nothing wrong with seven men who met on the internet going for a swim together

I use quikleen and Quikcare in my 250 Pro XS. Thats what my mechanic suggested so thats what I use. No stabil cause I fish all year round. You can buy it by the case from the Verado Owners club cheaper than anywhere.

I bought 2 cases of quarts and it was still way cheaper than I could get it locally.
