Welcome back Ashley. The video is great. Those fish were real hogs. I know you and Kent are glad to see Travis fill up.

Great fish!!!! Looks like the fight was awesome too. I thought one of them was going to jerk the rod out of her hand.

Just curious, were y'all fishing off the drop-off of the first slope or around brush piles? Looked like fairly deep water.

Sup Ash?! Long time no see. Nice video, although I feel like I should've been rolling or something to be able to fully enjoy the music ahaha. Apparently Travis has some big'uns too, looks like y'all had a great day. And traded the kayaks for a boat? Very nice!

Peyton, bro, whats up with your honey boo boo thing???/ LOL Wait...I'm ashamed I know who that is. I can't stop starring at it's ridiculousness. It fits you though.
But yea, I see you're still annoying everyone - you are at 16,220 posts.
ha
We still got a yak or two laying around. Kent goes out every now and then, but I don't. I'm all about that boat lyfe. It relaxes me. I lost your number when my phone took a drink last summer. So if you still got mine, text me so I can add you. If not, I'll survive. After all, you're a crummy human anyways. XO

It is very good to see the lake filled up. A blessing in many ways. The fish are hanging out in deep water and shallow. I think they are confused and trying to figure out the fluctuation in the lake levels every other week with all the rain. Each time we have went out, it's like 3 feet higher than last time, then it's two feet lower. And that pattern continues. And then I get confused. It's been a lot of work to find them each outing.

It's good to see everyone! Thank you all for the comments. I hope the great fishing continues on the lake and to post more for everyone as we keep learning and exploring.

Nice fish, great video. What was the bait of the day, worms or artificials?

Love it! Thanks for taking the time to produce the video, Ashley. Nothing like a beautiful day on the lake chasing sunnies!

Thank you everyone!
The baits used were worms and a variety of homemade jigs that we tied.
