We are headed to Ray Roberts state park. I'm kinda new to catfishing. Can some of you guys point us in the right direct on how to catch some channel cats? Thank you in advance.

A little late but I wouldn't go anywhere near that lake this weekend. Two tournaments going on and the place will be a fuster cluck even though it's a big lake.

fish the spill way, there is big channel cats 10-30 pounds we been catching on fresh shad and cut bluegill.

This one spooled me a good 2 times @ Ray Roberts Dam.I finally landed him @ Lewisville Dam.
