Fished Lake Clark last night over in Ennis. Pretty good little lake. Very peaceful and pretty deep on the shorelines with all kinds of moss pads and submerged cover. Too bad the trolling motor died. Still had a blast

Use to fish it all the time when I lived in the area. It is a fun lake, lots of small fish but I'd hang a decent one every now and then.

Fish the bluegill spawn areas with BIG bluegill swim baits. And hold on.
+ 1 on the whites. Caught about 100 in a few hours one day ripping a spoon across the new lake side. Also lots of gar!
Clean your trolling motor prop as soon as you get off the water. The nasty moss caca will get in it and is just as bad as braid twisted up on the shaft after it dries.

you cought those out of lake Clark if so probly lake record haha. Not quite. I've seen a few guys catch 8's and up. The only record I have at Clark is the pile of moss in the floor of the boat after a day's worth of fishing there.

Here ya go. Nice fish. Tell me about that blue gill spawn. thanks...it's gonna take a few days to get the blood outta my head. Haha It's done as far as I know. Haven't been on Clark in over a week. Last trip I made there, I was throwing a yellow magic all day. A ton of fun. And caught some good sized fish on the shallow southern end, by the dam. I might go there this evening. After two 12 hour days on Pool...I need a relaxing fishing outing. Anyone else feeling like fishing it tonight?

Wish I would have seen this yesterday. I would have meet you out there. It was to windy for me at Bardwell. Clark looks to be better for windy fishing. Is that true?
