Saturday I helped another guide out on Lake X. We were in fish steadily for the entire 4 hour trip. Good times.
Sunday I was back on LL. We had a decent day, but not as good as the last month. We kept 33 large whites and one 18 7/8 inch hybrid. They were going to cook them Sunday night on the hotel's out side grill. We probably landed 90+ fish of all sizes. The larger hybrids are beginning to show up now. A couple of friends have been catching some each trip. My two customers were here on business from Israel. One of them was born in Ukraine & immigrated to Israel as a child. They both spoke English, but with their accent and my poor hearing presented a problem. They fish when they are home and said they can not catch many each time they go.

20 feet of water is still the preferred depth. The slab spoon is also the bait of choice. I am looking forward to the Summer season. It should be very good.

I saw you out there . They doubled up several times .
And were all smiles when you were cleaning them, when I was loading up.
We were taking care of the democrat blues hanging below those sandies.
Good Job Mr
