Went to the causeway to fish the outgoing tide on Friday. Tidal coefficient was high and it showed with the water moving fast and displacing lots of bait. Made it out to the causeway in my yak at 4pm and the tide was high at 4 and went out until midnight. The fish were biting well. Skies were beautiful after the rains and the wind was mild but hard enough to blow my yak the opposite direction of the tide. Saw two other yakers get out around midnight. I think I heard one of them yell to me that I was spooking the fish with my yak by being too close to the lights...lol...I ignored him as he was unaware of the bite. Caught most on popping cork with live shrimp, Gulp 3" shrimp and DOA shrimp. Caught a red and the drum on bottom with a fish finder rig and shrimp and a small crab I caught swimming by my yak. Caught a few in a flock of birds that showed up before sunset. Caught the last red and trout in the lights at Tiki Island. Did all CPR and caught a flounder as well but didn't get the picture for some reason.
