Had the livewell valve fail on my champion this past weekend. Livewell went dry while we were making a long run in my sons high school tourney. Ended up causing us to have two dead fish and cost us 16 places. I got a brand new valve and installed it tonight. Problem is even after lots of adjustment it still has a very slow leak. It's a TH marine valve.
Anyone have this kind of trouble with the valves and got any recommendations?

Just replaced one myself a few months ago... mine was stuck shut so I couldn't drain. Haven't had any issues with the new one. My last one was secured with a metal collar as well as with marine sealant around the two barbs on either side of the valve... I just went with the collar when I replaced because it seemed plenty good enough. I assume leak is within the valve and not the hose connection though... read somewhere to lubricate the ball valve with vaseline to extend its life but not sure this would help any for the leak
