Alright, trying to install the lanes on my LCX 28C. The USR file wouldn't take, so I tried the GPX file and it worked, but only shows some way points up little caney, a couple by Mustang and pink lines almost matched up with Navionics marked lanes. One thing I noticed is the Drive didn't have the "microvault" area to choose, like the instructions. It only had "Hard drive" and another option that said free space. Anyone familiar with this that can shed some light on it? Any help is appreciated.

Your correct, Boatlane's USR files are version 4 which is compatible with all HDS units. GPX must be used on Elite units and I guess on LCX units also.

Boatlane trails mark the SRA buoyed lanes(not where buoys floated off course) and several unmarked guide lanes.

Sorry I don't know about LCX and "microvault".

Thanks man. Kind of what I figured. I had this on a couple of older lowrance units, but it was 3 or 4 years back. I'm familiar with it's workings, that's why I posted the question about the pink lines instead of way points. Guess I need to step out of the old days and get hip with HDS or whatever is the big thing now. ha
