Went out after work yesterday for a few hours. First stop was some boo buckets I dumped about 2 weeks ago. I haven't been able to go out there since I put them out. Got one bite and that was it but I didn't have the right jig tied on yet apparently hmmm. Hopefully next time will be better. Then I shot some docks and missed some fish. They weren't hitting it it would just get heavy and when I'd set the hook I guess it'd just pull out of their mouth. Then hit some piles and just a light bite here and there, nothing really taking it. Had been trying some different colors, then tied on my knock off "palestine special" that pepop makes and wham! eeks swallowed it. Drop it back down, bam! nuts game on. Caught 20 pretty quickly on 2 piles then it was getting dark so I headed in. Didn't get many pics because honestly I was so frustrated thinking I was going to get skunked then it was fast and furious and I was having too much fun wink
Brush was 15 FOW fish were 3 - 13' down.


Here's the jig I was using. I don't sell my jigs but give Pepop a shout if you haven't tried this or his grape limeade. I've always heard that they do great on Palestine, and it saved me from a skunk yesterday.
