Good lake? Looking at expanding south and fishing some down that direction.

Here are the results of the weekly Tuesday night tournament: http://www.centexfishing.com/results.htmlTakes a 4-5 lb average to win a 3 fish tournament, weights drop off pretty quickly from there. The lake used to be better when it consistently had grass.

Fun place to fish. Whites, Black, & smallmouth are plentiful as a whole. Power worms and square bills are a must have IMO. Good luck if you make the trip.

It's a beautiful lake - probably pretty dirty right now but in a dry period it's not uncommon to get 15'+ water clarity on the south end. Smallmouth population is all but extinct now though. It's a pretty tough lake but there are some fish to be caught.

Got no bass, huge bass, plentiful but tough...

The lake went down hill for a while after the grass died but the grass has made a come back and so have the fish
|

A good day can be 20-30+ fish. 50% white, 40% largemouth, 10% smallmouth. That's my idea of plentiful "as a whole". Fished it less than 10 times with friends or club members but never boated under 10 in a 6hr day.

Grass coming back , check out the results of the Tuesday night tournaments , as you are checking it out remember , 3 fish limit .
