to follow the pros, remember they don't pay for their prop and lower units.
Careful where you follow them.

I just spent the evening out there and they are not afraid to run around in the timber.

Actually 99% of them do pay for a LU when they rip them off. They don't pay as much as us but still pay. But yeah they aren't afraid to run in timber to a degree. Seen in the last few years at TTBC at Fork when I was a judge.

It's true I have heard how crazy I am running some places and this past weekend in ttt I kept waiting to see someone nail one on pad. I heard a boat get on pad right in the middle of Indian and turned and watch to see if they were going to hit one. Somehow they didn't and I know they were lucky there are stumps all over were they were running just a few inches under the surface. Add to the fact people will be following the pros who don't know where they are going either and it should make for an interesting event. Hopefully classic fiberglass is at the ramp with business cards!

i think they have insider information and have some kind of boat lane mapped already on their gps. they have sponsor, sponsors would like them to win so sponsor pays someone to get safe gps lanes and transfer them to their units.

Don't think so I had a couple pros contact me about running the lake months ago. They were both worried about tearing stuff up.

Some had guys run their boats around and record lanes. I saw it with my own eyes. I doubt they all did it.

I compete in BASS tourneys a lot. 9 a year. It never fails. I see boats at the Mercury and Yamaha trailers every day of the tourney, including practice days, with tore up props and damaged boats.

Believe me....most are rolling dice every day they are on the water.

I am sure that some have a little knowledge of where to hammer down and where not to, but there are most that just let er rip and are lucky. Trust me. The guys know how to drive....but to think they have all this inside information is crazy. Most don't. They just know that factory support and spare parts are there, if they need them. I've even seen spare boats being used. More than once.
