Fished Fayette yesterday, and had a real good day. Ended up with 71 in the boat, mostly in real shallow water 2-7 ft. Most caught on Culprit 7.5 inch originals. We also caught one fish that I was told is a Gaspergoo. Can anyone verify or ID this fish. It doesn't look like the pictures of Gaspergoo on the internet. Thanks

Talapia. If you have a cast net you can catch lots of the little ones at the boat ramp and use them as live bait for both bass and cats. Believe me when I tell you that I have caught some really big bass on the live talapia on a bottom fish finder rig. Use a 20 lb leader with a weight tied above your swivel and attach a strong light hook and put the samll talapia on by hooking in the back or tail and the fish will swim on the bottom attracting really big ones!
