Hey guys, I'm looking for recommendations for a guide to get in my boat, and teach me how to use my electronics. I live in the Tyler area and can easily get to Twak, Fork, Palestine, etc.
Looking for lessons on identifying all different types, structure, deep water bass, sandies, hybrids, etc. I know how to fish, just not the best at reading graphs. I only get my boys on the weekends and I want to be able to take them out and put them on top of fish for what limited time I have with them. I have a Skeeter SX180 with a Humminbird 997 SI. Thanks,
Andrew

Slade at Fork is about the best around. Ask in the bass section and you'll get his number. I used him about 2 years ago. Learned a lot

Will Kirkpatrick at Rayburn offers a school on electronics that is supposed to be the absolute best.

Elite Angler Academy in Huntington just south of Lufkin. Clark Rheem 479-970-3388. Teaches 1st part in classroom setting then out on Rayburn to see it on graph and do some fishing. Really builds your confidence in reading your sonar and structure scan.

I am scheduled for some training with Slade in June. Attended his seminar at Bass Pro a couple weeks ago and learned a lot. Shoot him an email at slade.dougharty.sd@gmail.com

Slade for sure! He waved his magic hand on my Helix 10 & 7 and all I can say is wow, plus he taught me a lot more than just the basics, he shows you how to use them.

About the same number that can drive up to a lake cold and find fish without coming on here and asking for help....
