I know it's not a real popular method here but I want to give it a go on the Brazos since a few have moved up river. Figure covering more water would be beneficial. So I basically am looking for a crash course. Does anyone here run them?

I fish balloons but want to cover more water off the sides.

You might want to reconsider until they stop releasing water. Even then you may need to quickly dodge one of those boats with a Jet Ski motor.

Not a place for Planer boards right now.

I don't mean right now lol, and I'll be in my boat, not my kayak. I'll doing this more toward tin top. Behind the dam I run balloons or fish on the bottom, if I'm using live bait.

If i'm in one of those boats, I make damn sure everyone knows I need to come through, beforehand. As should anyone who runs one safely.

Hmm. They're obviously there. Maybe dedicate a day to figuring out your electronics.
