I want to start using this large worm some. What is a good Owner or Gammie hook to use with it? What size too?

I throw it on their shakey head usually. Or a c-rig.

6/0 superline EWG or just regular 6/0 offset worm hook

Throw it on a wobble head works great on Tennessee river ledges

Use it with their x-lock, the x-lock has a flat head which makes this floating bait stand up perfect for a defensive look.

I would use a 5/0 Owner rigging hook or J hook.

Throw it on a Viper XP double header. Fantastic shaky head to use for larger baits.

Edit: designated hitter. I called it the wrong thing.

Ezbassin, I googled the viper shaky heads with no luck. Where can you get them?

These are built just for big worms like that. Come with either a 6/0 or 8/0 Hook. Called Ledge Monsters.

+1 Those X lock heads are kick [censored]. The maximus worm looks awesome on one. If you want to straight t or c rig it, I use a 5/0 heavy wire trokar. Any heavy 5 or 6/0 hook will work.

+1 on xlock..hard to beat the jighead that was made for the worm. Be sure to give them an extra second or 2 to get the whole worm. I LOVE the maximus on the 5/8 xlock for summer fishing.

P.S. you may want to add a seatbelt on your fishin chair.

SHHHHHHH!! Thats top secret stuff right there!

They work well for me on a 1/2oz wobble head or 1/2oz football shakey head. Shallow or deep doesnt matter!
