I see bluegill, longear, greenie, and maybe a few more varieties in this one! Caught it late last night at the Penthouse, on a 1/32nd oz tube jig. He was about 8 inches long, so a decent critter!:

I've caught similar sunfish before. I think they crossbreed on occasion.

It may be a hybrid of some sort, but it well may be a naturally produced one. I just have never seen one quite like it before. I released it after the photo op. He happily swam away.
