I made a combo rod for my senko/brushhogs and im using braid (20lb) w/ a leader on it (15lb) Fluorocarbon. My Question is how long do you prefer the leader to be? Thanks

I cut mine off at the first guide from the reel. I don't want the knot getting to the spool. This also gives me the opportunity to retie when I need to.
Less gritchin', more fishin'

I always do my wingspan, it seems to be a good length for me, it's never ended up in my reel and gives me enough length to re-tie several times before putting on another.

15 to 20 yards, I like my knot in the spool.
