Generally when I boat a toothy fish I make sure their nose is facing forward in my drive well. The day before my compadre Scott Bursik and I did some 12-14miles offshore, the day of this shark was the very next. Exhausted and on 2 hours of sleep I let go of the line a little early, the shark's nose was turned around by my mirage drive, and he decided to retaliate..
