So I went back out to Echo Lake today. I was there between 6:30 and 8:30 pm. Caught the first one within 10 minutes and the 2nd as I was leaving. Anyways maybe you guys that go there can post what you get when you go. Here is a pic of the first one I caught.

You'll find fish in that spot but if you wanna go after the bigguns, start from the middle (either side) and work your way towards to dam. I prefer a weighted Texas rig with a #3 hook and a craw. Don't be afraid to flip the cat tails and feel for rocks. Also, a weightless 4" dinger will catch em too. Color really isn't a factor unless the water is really dingy which is rare there. It usually stays relatively stained.

Went out again today. Caught a ding and the lost one. I must be doing something wrong... I will continue to go until I get me a nice sized one.

I didn't feel too bad. There was a few people out there and they had the same luck I did. Maybe the fish weren't hungry today.

Biggest I have landed out of there was a 7lber. They ruined it when they cut out all the cat tails recently IMO. Fish have fewer shallow spots to hide and now stay out deeper making bank fishing out there harder. Spawn sucked out there this year.

Went out there today.. Nothing. It was pretty windy, threw a frog and a senko by the dam. And tossed a senko out in the middle a few times. Felt like I had to keep an eye on my truck the whole time. frown

Ive never has an issue myself there. The best way to figure this place out is to keep going. I plan on making a trip there sometime this upcoming week if I get a chance.
