I'm thinking of heading out to Choke sometime soon. Haven't been in a couple years. I was wondering if anyone has made a trip recently and how well they did. Thanks, y'all!

I heard it has got better there, haven't been in a couple years myself. Also if you go down there the south Shore ramp is closed. Use the calliham boat ramp, and watch out for the land mines in the water!

It's better than it used to be....if you know what colors to throw.

I've heard some good reports from Choke lately as well. I've also heard that there is a little bit of grass near the river and a little bit of grass coming back in 4 fingers. Throwing a DD22 in some sort of shad pattern or something with some chartreuse in it, or throwing a Carolina rigged plum colored worm will get you bites on pretty much any point or hump. If you throw a worm, make sure it's big and red colored.
