Mike White, Brian Thompson and I fished Lake Cherokee Saturday morning and caught a good mess. We started on some docks that are about half-way back in a creek and only caught a few fish. We had caught quite a few on these docks 2 weeks ago and assumed that they had moved out to the brush piles. We fished brush for 3 hours and only caught a few doing that so we hit the main lake and fished a bunch of new water. Most docks had nothing on them, but if you found one, you caught more. Mike a nice 16" crappie that was definitely the best of the day. We quit just after 2 to go to a wedding and had found the motherlode. We were on a huge dock the had 20' of water at the end and a 10" gap between the water and the bottom of the dock. If you could shoot your jig under it, you were rewarded with a nice crappie everytime. We were checking our watches and saying just 1 more until we were about to get in trouble with our wives. We cleaned 58 in record time and made it to the wedding just in time.
