Visited the Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery in Branson Missouri with wife and kids on vacation and saw some really cool stuff! Thought I would share it, I don't get to fish for trout except during the winter when they put the little stockers in the local ponds ak seeing the big ones was really cool for me. My kids loved it! They loved getting to feed them as well. The really cool part was when we went inside the visitors center and got to see the world record brown trout they had on display. That was really cool! I'll post the pics of it. Also shot some video on my phone of some of the monster trout they had in the aquarium inside too.

And I made sure to get a pic of the fly he used to catch it. I don't know how to tie flies or hardly any of the names I buy mine at Cabela's cause I'm an amateur lol but for those that do they might really like to have this pattern in there collection. I couldn't believe it was caught on 2 lb line either totally crazy!

Left all my fishing stuff at home. Didn't want to make the wife mad.

Met that guy last time I was fishing below the dam.

I love that place. Both my wife and I agreed that it was the highlight of our trip.

Of course I didn't bring the fishing tackle for that trip. I won't make that mistake again laugh

I would hope not! Go out there at night and throw the biggest ugliest bunny looking thing you got and hold on Lol. Hatchery is really neat to go through.
