On Saturday, June 18th, a little over a month from now, the Ft Hood Chapter of Heroes on the Water (HOW) will hold their second kayak fishing event, the Stillhouse Summer Outing, at Stillhouse Hollow Lakes Dana Peak Park. The event goes from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
HOW helps our nations service members and veterans to unwind through the therapeutic qualities of kayak fishing. The program provides guided trips which serve to help our vets decompress from the stresses associated with the physical rigors of military life. All equipmentfrom kayaks to safety equipment, even the fishing gear is provided for the vets by HOW. Please help us get the word out to any vets you know in central Texas.
