I fished Fork this morning, about 730-noon, I couldn't fight the wind any more.
Now I wasn't fishing the Legend, but I do like to listen to the weigh in on the radio, KMOO 99.9
And Hats Off to all the fisherman, what a tuff day.
Here's my problem, seemed like all day the radio continued to say what a great day it was, and gave the weather and the wind report. Every time they mentioned the wind they seemed to always say "wind is light and variable,
5-10 mph....wow, are you kidding me. The waves hitting the dam was 3 footers easy, anyway,
do they not know what the wind actually is,..or are they just padding the wind to keep people coming out to fish.// rock

Probably just reporting what the weather station is saying. They might be padding it a little. I fished a champs one time where we all knew it should have been called a trailer tourney. Weather Station predicted big north winds. We show up and Chad walks down and says "looks good guys, only one to one and a half footers out there". So we start to launch, round the corner and it was everything but a foot and a half. That ride sucked
