This is the time of the year when the marinas start really slowing down. I would be looking for brush in 10-25 ft on the mainlake assuming some is left after the floods. The lake still being high and dropping fast is not helping things either. Hopefully things will settle down in June.

The lake definitely needs to settle and the bite will pick up.

I'm curious about this as well. I have access to Sliver Lake Marina and figured with the temperatures warming up, the crappie would like the shade of the docks. When is the best time of year to fish the docks? I went out a week ago and caught several short fish and about 3 keepers but all were released.

Still slow for me this week. Not expecting much till the Fall in the marinas. The main lake brush piles is where it's at right now.

Update went out of scotts for an hour today and couldnt get away from the small fish. Plenty or action tho in an hour probably caught close to 20 fish all being around the 9-9.5 inch range. Plenty of bites just not the quality
