So did some crappie fishing on ray roberts. 30-40 fow over a brush pile that rose up 10 feet. So top of the brush was 30-35 feet deep. Had my HDS 9 running high chirp and this is what I was seeing. The pic is seconds before I caught a nice slab. My bait is the solid line around 25-30 feet deep. Any thoughts on what I'm seeing here.

Looks like the fish moved down and took your bait as another fish came up right past it. I love using my graph when I'm fishing. It's like watching live tv and lets you know when you are about to have to set the hook.

very hard bottom showing a duplicate return. fish were likely sitting near the brush along the bottom, and when you caught one, several others followed the fish higher up in the water column.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

They always bite right there. That's a given. I would not have told nobody.
