We are catching large numbers of Sandies on Lavon. Our best day so far was almost 500. We are catching lots of Magnum size fish. The bite is early morning as well as afternoon. I am running trips both times on weekdays and weekends. 60.00 per person all tackle and lures will be furnished. Minimum of 4 people max of 6 people. call to book.

379 nice Sand Bass today, the girls killed the guys on size and numbers. Lavon is on fire for sandies. We kept only the 16 an 17 in and above, that was 40. We thru everything else back to grow up and fight again. We had many many 3 at a time caught, but the best was 7 at once on a sabiki rig, and 6 on a homemade sabiki but Ayman. Ayman's wife really out fished him ( don't tell him I told you ). We all had a blast, fish were behind the island in 15 to 23 ftw. We were catching them on chartruse 1/2 oz slabs, white 1/2 oz slabs and mirror 1/2 oz slabs, with a grub tied a ft up, sometimes a couple or even 3 or 4 grubs, white, yellow, blue, chartruse and orange colors all worked well. Nice day today, didn't get the big numbers like last weekend. We did get our coolers stuffed with some nice big ones though. I have weekdays open as well as Friday, Saturday is full morning and afternoon, Sunday I have an afternoon trip open, and all day Monday is open, lets get some sand bass!!!

471 total sand bass for the weekend, 258 on sunday alone. Lots of Magnum size as well as legal eating size. I furnish all tackle and bait. I fish weekdays as well as weekends, morning and afternoon trips are open. 60.00 per person, minimum 4 max of 6 people. You bring your drinks and snacks and a cooler for your fish. We are using slabs with a jig or 2 tied above, many times you get 2 or 3 at once. Its a blast, if you want some sand bass now is a great time to load up on them!!

This Sunday was a slow day, we went everywhere. I marked very large schools on many humps and points. I think they were on vacation. The ones we did catch were in 14 to 24 ftw. Slabs were king. Seems like just when you figure them out, they say nope!!! call to chase some sand bass
