I generally throw a chartreuse in low light, stained water conditions and have had some success. I'm pretty sure I actually bought the lure for saltwater fishing.

Anyways, what do you guys throw for stained and clear water bass?

By far the most fish on the original 4.5" version in flitter shad. I have good luck with chrome too. Super spook Jr. in any shad pattern is a good all around size. However, I have caught a lot of huge fish on a Zara puppy in G finish as well.

I would have one of each size for sure.

My custom Flash Shad. Patterned after the Zell Rolland signature Spook. I put the ghost strip on the bait and add the third hook. It gets all stainless steel hardware with KVD triple grip short shanks. It is balanced to do the 180 degree turn or the dying quiver. It will also walk and throw the bubble with the best of them.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

Been collecting Heddon's since I was a kid. I like the old school center ties more than the newer versions, but will fish both with equal confidence and success. Blue, black and white shore are probably my favorites but there isn't a color made I'd turn my nose up to. Puppies to supers are all on the table, just depends on what they want.
