Seeing if anyone has had any luck on Lake Placid or Meadow in Seguin. Fished Placid a couple of times and caught a couple of good ones but only had luck in one spot both times. Thinking about trying out Meadow or Dunlap in New Braunfels this weekend.

Dunlap is likely to be crowded with wakeboard boats this weekend. As is placid. Give meadow a shot. I've caught a bunch of bass on that lake, but nothing big. There are bound to be some fat girl son there somewhere. Use the ramp at the Rv park on the south bank of the river, it isn't nearly as steep as the one on the north bank, but it is short, so watch your axle(s) and make sure you don't roll them past the white pvc post sticking out of the water, or you're gonna have to get wet in ordertoget your trailer back.

Thanks elcoyote ending up going out that afternoon in the kayak. Put in at the River Shade RV Park and made t down to the big bend to the right and worked the laydowns. Caught a few little ones nothing crazy. Did enjoy not fighting ski boats like Placid. Would rather fish Meadow and not catch anything to to fish Placid and deal with SKi boats all day long. Are you saying to put in at Lakefront RV Park? River Shade seems tough to put a boat in at.
