Howdy folks!
I was planning on running up early on Friday morning to Lake Lewisvilled to catch some hybrids and sandies. Can anyone provide any tips/guidance on how to catch a few for the hot grease? Also, are any of the ramps closed due to the recent rains? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Arrowhead is open I put in there yesterday morning. It was blowing and I couldn't get my anchor to hang on anything we did catch a lot of decent blues and one 23" Hybrid all on shad. Fished mainly out in front of the golf course Good luck

Thanks for the heads up. Which golf course? The one by the dam or somewhere else. Are people catching them on slabs or sassy shads? Don't have time for live bait this time around.

Slab and fly combo has been working for me on main lake points and humps.

I was out bass fishing early this morning (6am). I was on the main lake across the lake from Tower Bay. About 7am white bass started breaking all around me...from the shore line to probably 200 yards into the lake. I started throwing my ratl-trap and proceeded to catch one on almost every cast. I was really trying to catch a large hybrid but didn't manage that. This kept up until till I left at 9:30. I even tried to get away from them by going into the end of one of the larger coves but they were EVERYWHERE.

Well shoot...wished we would've seen ya! We were just up the point from you. We caught probably 10 or so and 1 small hybrid. All the sandies were small except for 2 that we kept for the frier. Steady action with some intermittent boils. Probably could've done a lot better if my janky depth finder was working a little better. Still, a pretty morning and some nice action. Always great to be out on the lake!
On some unfortunate news, I "caught" a rod and reel combo that looked like it might have some zebra mussels on it. Not sure if it is has been reported but thought I'd mention it to make sure all were aware.

Is there anything happening around the Hidden Cove area? I put in there and have a 5 year old who wants to get on some fish. We went out 2 weekends ago and marked a few small schools off points but didn't "load the boat". Tower Bay is a bit of a run with him in the boat so I'd like to hit more productive water closer . Any info appreciated!

It's going to spread to all the lakes around here eventually. Its unfortunate but true.

You know after all the floods they have to to be everywhere. Raybob is covered in them, literally thousands on each stump.

Slab / fly combo worked well for us last Sunday. Fished a small hump out in front of the dam. Did't slaughter them but had decent day. This was my first time EVER catching on slabbing, so that alone was a victory.... before that I thought it was all a big conspiracy We lost one Hybrid by the dam that was probably pushing 25 inches, lost him right before he swam into the net.
