I couldn't find a post on it already, so here it is.

Let the speculation be ended of where the Classic will be this year. Back in April, Bassmaster announced that it will be holding the tournament in Houston, Texas! The anglers competing will be fishing Lake Conroe, then driving to Minute Maid Park to weigh in. Not too sure on how that will work with Houston traffic lol.

This is great for both Houston, as well as Lake Conroe. Lake Conroe's bass fishing will be highlighted, and the city of Houston will gain some revenue from all the tourism that comes along with the Classic.

Here's the article, I get excited just thinking about it!

You're about a month late.

Yes, I understand that. I searched for a topic on it already but didn't find anything. Excuse me if I'm wrong and there was a topic already.

Not everyone I've talked to knows about it yet, so I'm trying to do my part and inform the community smile

There was a topic created about 20 minutes after they announced. It went on for quite some time. The main worries were the size of the lake being on the small size compared to previous classic events so with anglers and spectator boats on the lake it could be treacherous, and the driving distance being an issue for fish health which was put to rest because several other classic events have had quite the drive from ramp to weigh-in so it's nothing new for B.A.S.S.

Thank you sir, I searched a couple times with both key terms "bassmaster classic" and "classic 2017" and it didn't turn up these topics. Sorry about the duplicate posting guys. Total overlook on my part

20 minutes? Fouzman had posted about it within 20 seconds!
