Any updates for dock fishing at Navarro Mills? Have either the Marina or Crappie Point been repaired and fishable yet?

Lake 4.76 ft above normal. Only one ramp open, Liberty Hill Park, docks in Oak Park are closed. Don't know what the deal is with Elmo, have not heard.....
No fishing report.....About another week and things should be ready to rock and roll (if no rain).....
Crappie fishing... what else is there ??

Spoke with Elmo yesterday and he said that Crappie Point suffered severe damage and probably would not be fixed this year. He also said that the lake is almost down to where he can repair the walkway to the fishing area. He said if the lake keeps coming down he might have it fixed in another week but for sure by Memorial Day as long as the lake does not flood again. He also said that a lot of undersized fish were being caught and not many keepers. He said you would catch 30 undersize and maybe 6 keepers.

Thanks for the updates. Elmo is a great guy. I sure hate all the trouble the floods have plagued the marina with. All his hard work made that the best crappie spot in North Texas. Hope to see him soon!
