Been busy with work and family stuff and haven't fished in about three weeks. Are y'all starting to see more of a deep summer pattern yet?

Fish are hard to pattern down here right now. It's been off this year so far.

We caught them both shallow and deep. Shallow bite was near grass.

This past weekend during our tournament we couldnt buy a deep bite. Fish seemed to be post-spawn to summer pattern transition. Most of our fish came 5-8ft of water

Fished a pond in Dallas last weekend between my sons soccer game and to my surprise found tons of fish in this little pond still on beds. Also have been having a better bite shallow on big lakes like fork the past couple of weeks but have had to slow way down, I mean eat a sandwich and drink a cold drink between cast slow.....key is finding the schools of bait/shad for numbers and faster fishing.

One lake in my area is definitely considered a "clear water" lake, visibility is easily 4+ ft. Bass are still on beds and spawning. Another lake literally 20 minutes away is a stained/muddy water lake. They are in full post spawn pattern on that lake. Pretty wild considering the water temps of both lakes are similar.

I've been fishing Lew, so keep that in mind. Lol. But the fish are all over man. It's been two weeks and I haven't found a real pattern. Just lots of small fish scattered throughout any and all of the cover in the lake. There are fish in 2 FOW and there are fish holding in 30 fow. It needs to get hot and settle these guys down.
