6 of us guys are headed to Palestine this weekend to go do a little fishing and beer drinking. I haven't been there since this time last year, so I was wondering if anyone could offer up some tips on whats working right now. I'm sure we will hit the usual spots like Flat, Kickapoo, and Old Cade, but any info will be appreciated.

The north end of the lake is very muddy from all the rain. I have been doing good fishing the grass south of the 155 bridge. Good luck.

Don't let that muddy water up north scare you, there's big fish in that brown water. Fish are scattered and hard to pattern. If you catch 1,slow down and really work that area good. Goodluck

Highsaw & Ledbetter were great last weekend. Fish the grass as shallow as possible.
