Yes there are some good fish in the lake and the ramp is open.

Fish the pocket straight across from the ramp with a 1.5 square bill and a split shot fluke. Start at dock on left and keep fishing that shoreline to the right.

Saw you out there, I was crappie fishing. My luck was not much better. I caught around 100, but they were extremely small! Caught about 20 or so largemouths mixed in that were about 4" long. I gave up about 2:30! It is like that sometimes, the lake was really muddy and hasn't quite settled since the last rain.

yep it was we left went to Hawkins man they took a hit from the storms fishing was tough there also ...water was clear as always....manage 2 nice ones ...Left went home got hot too lol !
