Catfish in Houston?

Hello-
Im looking for some where to bank fish and catch cats in or near Houston. I am new to the area, and haven't had fried fish in months.

Lake Conroe is full of cats. Galveston has got those good tasting gaftops you can catch also. As far as the immediate Houston area, my knowledge is limited. The bravos river crosses around sugar land if I remember correctly.

Check out Duessen Park on Lake Houston. Pretty good catching there

Check out Duessen Park on Lake Houston. Pretty good catching there Thanks for the advice, I checked the webpage and looked at the map. Do you fish in the fishing pond, or in lake Houston?
