 anyone been to Oak creek lately?

Was wondering what the ramp or lack of situation is. I only have 2wd truck so don't want to get stuck.

I went in March. Fishing was tough but the ramp by the dam and the ramp on the highway are usable. Let us know how you do! I'm planning on going back there in May sometime.

Oh and I have a 4wd tahoe but I didn't need to turn on the 4wd at all.

Lake is on a steady rise up over 2 ft in last week pretty muddy.

Fished today from 2-7. fishing was tough caught one small bass and 3lb catfish with no other bites tried up the river, around docks, rocks, and weeds. Fished cranks, rattle traps, shakey heads, lizarrds, top water, spinnerbaits, jigs you name it fished shallow out to 15-20 ft deep.

I fished from the bank on Saturday from 8 - 12 and didn't catch a thing. Schools of baitfish were following my spinnerbait and I had a few small fish hit the skirt but nothing good enough to take it. Talked to a few guys on boats as they passed by and they were also struggling.

I talked to a buddy a few min ago said he and pardner had not got a bite all morning, lake very muddy.

Has anyone caught anything out there this year? Seems like I haven't heard from anyone catching bass out there. It blows my mind. This place used to be loaded with 2-3 lb bass.
