I'm headed to Murray this weekend. Are the fish still up shallow or have they moved off? What is the water clarity like right now?

Murray for sure, there will still be a few fish shallow but most have done the deed and are egressing to secondary areas. peep

Arbuckle sucks right now! Was up there last weekend.

Murray is fishing good. They're biting good from 0-25' right now. Go shallow and flip and throw topwater or go deep with a jig, deep diving crank or c-rig.

Possibly the most general information that could be given haha. But that's the time of year I guess. Got fish in all stages of the spawn.

It's how the lake fishes from now through the end of summer. Flip flooded brush and grass in shallow water for largemouths, throw a topwater throughout the lake in shallows early for both largemouth and smallmouth. Or go deep and catch numbers of smallies.

I'm not used to lakes that have both species in them. Originally from east texas now live in gainesville. Sounds like a fun lake to fish.

Is the lake clear(ish)? I know they've had rain up there too. Trying to find water that isn't muddy is kinda hard to do right now.

It's still pretty clear, especially the farther south you go. The backs of creeks have been a little stained after these rains the past 6 weeks.
