I know if doesn't take much chum per spot, but what is the best way to get them chum in the water without getting it on your hands or boat?

If it ain't broke don't fix it...but go ahead and work on it anyway.....

We use a dog food scoop we found at Wal Mart. Some days, no matter what you do, it still gets in the boat and on you.

In the pet section at Wal Mart there is a dog ball thrower for $8.00 that works well. Each scoop holds about a double handful. I can get 30 yards out of it if needed.

My chum throwers work well, $2.43 ea. + $6 shipping. In fact that's exactly why people by it because it doesn't get on their hands.

Don't know if it's kosher here or not, but I made a video of it last summer:

I use the plastic BaseBall bat Idea I got from Chad F. but remember those 4 dollar bats have a hole in the bottom of the handle and will [censored] chum water on you if it is not pluged.

20 oz mug works pretty good for me couple in each hole and go catchin, or as my buddy does 1/4 bag cattle cubes on each side of boat drop lines straight down

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

Hah! Got to get one of those ball chunkers. I've learned the hard way not to break my wrist when pitching chum with a cup. Get it in the boat and it is a reminder for quite awhile.
