i was wondering if anyone has fished the lake sam rayburn spill way and if it would be worth my time to drive out there and check it out

I used to fish there many years ago. It was hit or miss, but be careful on the jasper (east side) of Dam there are big hills to climb down to the water and don't be fooled the water in there is deep and has a deep drop off. It might be better fishing than the Zavalla side (west bank) but that side is much safer. AND when they start generating, its sometimes a race to get up the hills!!!
