Any suggestions on a great deep diving crank bait rod? I prefer a higher quality.

Thanks

Dobyns 805. Lots of real good choices and many for less. None better!

Phenix Composite X Cranking Rod

I could sit here and tell you how awesome the Dobyns or G. Loomis crankbait rods are, but I wouldn't be showing you the best one on the market. I've spent a lot of time cranking ledges and offshore structure on Pickwick Lake, and the best rod I've ever used for deep cranking is the Phenix Composite X. This rod is simply amazing and it's incredibly well balanced! It's composite which means that it's part fiberglass and part graphite. You get the sensitivity of graphite and the performance of fiberglass. This rod has it all, and it costs less than the Dobyns or G. Loomis! I promise you'll be a believer in this rod if you try it. I'm confident!

I have a 805 cbrm I got used for a good price as my first dobyns rod. It will definitely launch a deep diver and haul fish np. I have no issues with fatigue.

How about the 806 or is it not versatile enough?
